Bailey/Howe Library makes over 200 computers available for the use of our patrons.
Types of Computers Available
Users must logon with their UVM NetID to gain access to productivity software suites such as Mathematica, Microsoft Office, Minitab, and SPSS.
These Linux-based terminals are available to all library users for use of e-mail and the Internet.
These desktops are available to all library users with specific tasks to perform. The locations of these machines include Maps, Microforms and Special Collections.
Library visitors are welcome to bring their own laptops and plug into our available network jacks.

Printing from a Laptop to Library Printers
Library visitors are welcome to intall the Pharos Printing Solution to enable printing to library printers. Currently, this option is only available for Windows-based computers.
UVM's wireless networks (both Cat's PAWS and UVM) are available in a majority of the Bailey/Howe Library, however use of these wireless networks are restricted to UVM faculty, staff and students.
